Kia has been one of the fastest growing brands in the area, and a lot of newer models include ADAS features that need calibration after a windshield replacement. Kia ADAS calibration Newer Kias come with Kia Drive Wise, which includes lane keeping assist, forward collision avoidance, blind spot warning, and adaptive cruise control. The forward-facing camera on most of these is mounted behind the windshield, and it needs to be recalibrated whenever the glass is replaced. We perform the calibration in our shop, both static and dynamic depending on the model. What we replace Windshields, side windows, quarter glass, rear windows, sunroof glass, and sliding panoramic roof glass on the Telluride and other Kia SUVs. Do you work on EVs?
Yes, including the EV6 and Niro EV. The high-voltage system stays sealed during glass work, but we follow EV-specific procedures during the install.
How long for a Kia windshield replacement?
Most installs take 60 to 90 minutes, with another hour for adhesive cure and calibration.
Will my Drive Wise systems work after the replacement?
Yes, once we complete the calibration. We don’t release the vehicle until that’s done.
