RV and motorhome windshields are a different animal from passenger car glass. The glass is bigger, often two pieces, and the gasket and trim systems vary widely by manufacturer. We work on Class A, Class B, and Class C motorhomes, and on most fifth wheel and travel trailer front cap windows. Class A motorhomes Class A windshields are typically two large curved pieces separated by a center divider. Brands we’ve worked on include Winnebago, Tiffin, Newmar, Fleetwood, Holiday Rambler, and Thor. Glass for older units sometimes needs to be ordered, with one to three week lead times depending on the chassis. Class B and Class C Class B (van conversions) often use the original Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit, or Ram Promaster windshield, which we replace routinely. Class C motorhomes use a passenger truck windshield in the cab section plus an over-cab window, and we replace both. Service location RV work is typically done at our shop or at your storage facility, depending on the size and mobility of the unit. Call us with the make, model, and year and we’ll talk through what works. Call 502-709-8693 to schedule.
